American Flag Foil Star Balloon Wall Stages, walls, and large bare (or unsightly) areas can be transformed into something awesome with the right back-drop decoration. Patterns, flags, names, and logos can be an integral part of this type of decoration. “SDS” Interlocking Hearts Balloon Mural With Designer Bruce Walden The SDS system for designing balloon walls, murals, and backdrops is the most versatile in the industry. Random Spiral Stage Garland Arch Balloon Drops, the classic New Year’s Eve midnight event, offer ceiling decoration for a variety of events. The drops may be star-shaped, heart-shaped, or in the traditional oblong nets. Inaugural Ball 2001 Garland Arch and Crew Nearly all events with music and dancing are enhanced by dance floor décor. They work fantastically outdoors because they are weather resistant. Inside, framed arches are perfect to decorate areas with low ceilings. Rainbow Style Single Strand Stage Arches Designed by Stan Rosen with MAQBN and published in Images Magazine 2005. Single or Strand of Pearls arches may be called “basic” because they are more simple than the rest; but, they can still be a fantastic way to decorate. Because of their relatively low cost, they can often be made very high or in a series or with other frills in the center and the ends. Xerox of Greater Washington (XGW) Sculpted Pedestal Letter Sculptures at The Mayflower Hotel, Washington, DC Large balloon sculptures are some of the most challenging decorations to create. The most elaborate designs may have thousands of balloons and may cost many thousands of dollars. As such, sculptures like the Bell’s piano or King Neptune are rarely reproduced. However, “SDS” based theme sculptures, characters, numbers, and letters are much more affordable. Stage and Dance Floor Creation by MAQBN Tents by their very nature truly need dressing up. You can have the tent entrance decorated with an arch or columns. The outside may have clusters of balloons attached around the top perimeter; and, inside, a wide variety of ceiling treatments work well. Topiary Balloon Trees with a Megaloon Arch Balloon Drops, the classic New Year’s Eve midnight event, offer ceiling decoration for a variety of events. The drops may be star-shaped, heart-shaped, or in the traditional oblong nets. Dance Floor Canopy or Ceremonial Stage Canopy Dance floor canopies come in a wide variety of styles; and, they can be a wonderful complement for almost any occasion. Two things are generally needed for all of these designs: A very high ceiling (at least 12 feet) and a large set-up window (usually at least four hours). Class of 2004 Graduation Celebration Columns Designed by Claudia Gee Giant 40-inch Megaloon topped columns are a great way to customize your event. Here we have the class of 2004. Other ideas include spelling out the guest of honor's name or a corporate acronym. Typical Cost $140.00 per Megaloon topped column. Shooting Stars Balloon Columns by Claudia Gee This is one design you simply must enlarge to fully appreciate. Here, you can appreciate two elemental functions of design. Note that the balloons are sized from larger to smaller as you travel up the column. The asymetrical curve topped off with the star just gives this column an awesome feel. This column is generally over twelve-feet including the bend and the star. The typical cost is $200.00 each. Christmas Candy Cane Sculptures Designed by Claudia Gee Here we give balloon columns a whole new twist and making them look good enough to eat! Candy cane columns typically cost $150.00 each. American Flag Mural Wall Backdrop Here is another wonderful example of how the SDS system helps balloon artists create wonderful mural backdrops. Note the "top print" star balloons which really make this design work Fanciful 80th Birthday Garland Arch Designed by Claudia Gee Note here how arches can have a great impact with wide swaths of color versus the traditional spiral pattern. This arch is also embossed with giant Megaloons (80) and hanging musical notes. Giant Music Note Topped Column The only limit to column design is your imagination. Here a number of sizes and types of balloons are used to make this column really stand out! Zachary's Bar-Mitzvah Party This giant Megaloon arch is made even larger with additional balloons to decorate the front of the stage where the band is about to set up. Free Floating Column at Verizon Center We call this style of big bouquet a "free floating column" because it mimics the style of columns that are built with an inner support structure.
