Tonight begins a four night celebration of BSO’s 100th anniversary. In collaboration with Indivisual Creative, Ballroom Balloons transformed the atrium ceiling at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore with a series of metallic gold balloon arches.
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, with conductor Marin Alsop, is joined by Joshua Bell playing a Tchaikovsky violin concerto. The orchestra will also perform compositions by Rossini and and R. Strauss. The Saturday evening performance with be at Strathmore Music Center.
